rig update

Available local and workspace. Reference source: CLI 0.13.0-rc.5 (824aefd6ad16). Replaces the running rig binary with the latest published release, or with the release tag given to --version. It downloads this platform’s build from the public release mirror, checks that the download runs, and swaps it in place: ~/.local/bin after the standard install, /usr/local/bin inside a workspace. Set RIG_INSTALL_DIR to install into another directory.

Examples

Update to the latest release.

rig update

Install a specific release instead of the latest. VERSION is a release tag such as v0.12.68; the leading v is optional.

rig update --version VERSION

Inspect the supported arguments before running this command. Help is offline and does not modify resources.
