Manage SSH keys - Rigbox Docs

Prerequisites

Run these commands on your local machine after rig login. Use a public key file ending in .pub; never upload its private-key counterpart.

Register and inspect keys

rig ssh add --name my-laptop --file ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub
rig ssh ls

Key registration is account-level; existing workspaces may require a sync before the key is available.

Sync to a workspace

rig ssh sync --workspace WORKSPACE
rig workspace ssh-info --workspace WORKSPACE

Use the connection details returned by the CLI. Verify the key by opening a new SSH session before removing an older working key.

Remove a key

rig ssh rm --help

Select the key ID from rig ssh ls. Keep an alternate authorized key until you have verified access. See SSH troubleshooting if authentication fails.
